Department Description
The Medical / Surgical Resource Team (MSRT) is part of the Central Resource Group. RNs provide direct nursing care at the Parnassus, Mission Bay and Mount Zion locations on all adult inpatient medical / surgical acute care and step-down telemetry units, the PACU and the emergency department.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2.5 years of recent Transitional Care or Step Down care or Progressive care experience and telemetry interpretation clinical RN experience
- Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California
- Active American Heart Association CPR certification
- Active American Heart Association ACLS certification
- This position requires the flexibility to orient and work in all UCSF Medical Center locations
Preferred Qualifications
- BSN
- RN clinical experience in an academic medical center
- Experience with electronic medical record documentation
- Specialty certification e.g. PCCN, CCRN-E
- Recent float pool experience
