Unit Description

Delaware North is the food and beverage, and retail partner at The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex since dating back to 1995. The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is the visitor center at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. It features exhibits and displays, historic spacecraft and memorabilia, shows, educational camps and programs, two IMAX theaters, and a range of bus tours.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver integrated HR services and programs tailored to Southland Gaming's business needs, focusing on attracting, hiring, and retaining talent
  • Provide strategic direction for onboarding, compliance, employee relations, and training for HR team members, ensuring they understand job functions, policies, and growth opportunities
  • Serve as a coach and adviser to people managers and business leaders, handling escalated employee relations matters, including investigations and resolutions aligned with company values and governance standards
  • Collaborate with labor relations on union matters, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication
  • Develop and implement scalable HR and human capital strategies, policies, and services, ensuring compliance with regulatory, legislative, and enterprise requirements


Qualifications

  • High school degree or GED required; bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational development, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR management experience with a large employee population
  • Previous gaming experience is strongly preferred and must be eligible to obtain a state gaming and racing license
  • Experience with PeopleSoft, Workday, or similar HRIS, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Candidate must reside near Kennedy Space Center or be open to relocation.
