Description:
The Production Manager is responsible for leading the production team to achieve the safety, quality, delivery & cost goals and objectives of the organization on new program launch and sustaining production. The Production Manager is responsible for achieving the production build plan, coaching the team to solve problems, and drive continuous improvement to achieve operational excellence. The Production Manager provides hands-on support, leadership, and direction to the production teams on all operational issues.

Responsibilities
- Lead production readiness and ramp for new and sustaining programs by managing resources, hiring, training, identifying bottlenecks, driving process improvements, and solving critical problems cross-functionally
- Use a data-driven approach to prioritize problem-solving and improvement initiatives based on KPIs, metrics, and business impact to achieve organizational goals
- Achieve SPQRC KPI goals and build plans through active problem-solving, continuous improvement, and training the team in root cause analysis and first-principles thinking
- Hire, coach, and mentor Associate Managers and Supervisors to build a high-performing team, set clear expectations, and manage performance effectively
- Foster a culture of adherence to standardized work, compliance with policies, and regular audits to ensure safety and product quality
- Collaborate cross-functionally to implement process changes, new product introductions, improvement projects, and corrective actions in a controlled and measurable manner
- Enhance team morale by working with HR and production leaders to create an engaging work environment where employees perform at their highest level
Requirements
- 7-10 years of leadership and manufacturing experience in a highly technical industrial environment, preferably with a degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- Experience launching new programs and ramping production in high-volume manufacturing with a strong focus on process improvement methodologies to enhance efficiency, yield, and availability
- Analytical, detail-oriented, self-driven, and a critical thinker with the ability to proactively communicate and thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
- Strong hands-on experience implementing lean methodologies and continuous improvement practices to drive operational excellence
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in MS Office Suite
- Ability to work well under pressure, manage competing demands, and meet tight deadlines with diligent follow-through
- Skilled in structured problem-solving techniques and cross-functional collaboration to foster strong working relationships with team members, peers, and management

- Expected Compensation
$120,000 - $180,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
