The current salary range for this position will be $85,000 to $124,000 annually."
RMC is hiring a Senior Repair Specialist to support our customer in Dahlgren, VA. The selected applicant will:
- Responsible for maintaining, conducting periodic maintenance, and supporting Guidance Test Set (GTS) test events.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues down to the circuit board level and fabricating custom cables.
- Travel (CONUS and OCONUS) and support shipboard and field test events as needed.
Requirements
- Active DoD Secret clearance is required to start.
- Three (3) years of general maintenance and repair experience in computer based electro-mechanical equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to solder multi-layer circuit cards, cables, and connectors.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze circuit card assemblies to identify problems at the component level.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Work with electrical diagnostic tools.
- Follow existing procedures for equipment at the component, chassis, or system level.
- Perform research on Commercial-Off-The- Shelf (COTS) material.
- J-STD-001 solder certification.
- Operator IPC 620 wire harness and cable certification.
- Ability to travel (CONUS and OCONUS) and embark naval vessels.
