Description:
DSFederal seeks an experienced Solution Analyst to support a Federal agency's IT services program. The Solution Analyst will play a crucial role in discovery, analyzing business challenges, conducting research, gathering requirements, identifying appropriate solutions, and proposing strategies aligned with the client's goals. The role involves understanding web environments, modern architectures, microsites, web life cycle best practices and standards, content strategy and management, Migration, data visualizations and integrations, and web analytics.
Job Requirements
Experience in gathering, analyzing, and documenting functional and non-functional requirements.
Experience building responsive websites using Drupal CMS, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, and JavaScript
Understanding of Acquia product stack (Drupal 9, PHP 8.0, Acquia Cloud, Acquia Site Factory, Acquia Lift, Acquia DAM, and Acquia Edge)
Understanding database structures, data flows, and integration points.
Knowledge and experience with Drupal upgrades, solution deployments and change management process.
Have a good understanding of the deployment pipeline (Stage, UAT, production) and deploy the changes across the different environments using CI/CD (Tools like as Acquia Cloud CD, Jenkins, etc )
Ability to engage with federal stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate them into technical specifications.
Experience with automation, AI integration, or data-driven decision-making approaches in federal IT projects.
Knowledge of common web application vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10, SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), CSRF) and experience implementing mitigation strategies in compliance with NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, and FISMA security guidelines.
Responsibilities
Architect and lead complex Drupal implementations, focusing on enterprise-scale solutions and multi-site deployments
Design and implement content architectures, taxonomies, and data models
Support and drive technical strategies for Drupal development of customer modules and enterprise integration
Provide technical oversight for security hardening and performance optimization
Help guide Drupal development effors, leveraging best practices and coding standards
Support technical discovery workshops and solution architecture sessions
Lead proof-of-concept development for complex technical requirements
Review and optimize Drupal implementations and deployments
Support CI/CD pipeline deployment strategies
Mentor development teams and provide technical leadership
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address program-specific platform needs
Requirements
Experience Required:
Minimum of 10 years in IT solutions, system analysis, or web development roles.
Proven track record of architecting enterprise-scale Drupal implementations
Deep expertise in supporting technologies including:
PHP development and modern practices
Modern Drupal architecture and module development
Configuration management and deployment strategies
Drupal multisite architecture
Complex content modeling and migrations
Performance optimization and caching strategies
Security best practices and hardening techniques
API development and integration
Automated testing and quality assurance
DevOps practices and CI/CD implementation
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
Proficiency with build tools and dependency management (Composer) as well as version control systems (Git) and workflows
Experience with Front-end technologies (Twig, JavaScript, CSS)
Expertise with search integration (Solt, Elasticsearch) and database optimization
Drupal-based certifications preferred (e.g., Acquia)
Strong understanding of information architecture and knowledge management principles
Experience with government security requirements (FedRAMP, FISMA)Strong documentation skills for technical and business process documentation.
Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certification:
Certifications like PMP, PMI, CBAP, AAC or any other related?certifications would be nice to have
