Responsibilities:
The Website /Web Application Developer provides design and development of visualization/web applications for Air Force/ Office of Competition (AF/OC), Combatant Command Intelligence (CCI) Enterprise Management Support Office (EMSO). CCI-EMSO is looking for a full-time Website/Web Application Developer to join the Team to develop mission critical applications and websites supporting the acquisition and oversight of Intelligence capabilities in the Department of Defense. As a member of the design and web development team, the Website/Web Application Developer will work closely with program analysts, IT systems integrators, engineers, and data scientists to build and sustain high fidelity applications and websites.
The Website/Web Application Developer will drive projects through the development lifecycle of requirements, design, development, and testing. Responsibilities include creating mock-ups and creating web applications using HTML / JavaScript / CSS and front-end frameworks that adhere to design principles overall consistency. The successful candidate is expected to accomplish the following outcomes during the first year in the position:
- Formally track all tasks, to include: assigned by, suspense, status, and comments on all assigned tasks through completion and be prepared to brief upon request.
- Develop digital continuity folders and files that include standard operating procedures, workflows and POC lists to accomplish all tasks.
- Create 2-3 products beyond the client's requirements that positively impact the client to either increase efficiency, effectiveness, or innovation.
- Master position tasks within 60 days and exceed requirements within 90 days.

- Work with clients and team members to develop requirements and business goals, develop the overall look and design of the website.
- Create designs that can quickly and efficiently be developed into standards-compliant websites.
- Write website code with programming languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, and React.JS, Node.JS.
- Produce, maintain, and modify user interfaces.
- Incorporate applications, graphics, audio, and video clips into websites.
- Create tools that enhance the user's experience.
- Ensure websites are accessible across unclassified and classified platforms.
- Routinely test websites for ease of use, speed and other quality factors.
- Fix any issues or bugs that arise.
- Code and perform unit testing for the routines and procedures that have been produced as part of the Developer's coding work.
- Integrate work into a code repository for successful deployment of the solutions being implemented.
- Maintain existing applications by writing code to improve performance, fix bugs or implement new functionalities.
The candidate must have the following qualifications:
- MA/MS in Computer Science, Web Development, Graphic Design, or related discipline
- Minimum of fifteen (15) years of work-related experience.
- Minimum of ten (10) of those years, supporting a component of the DoD.
- Minimum three (3+) years of experience developing intuitive web applications.
- Experience with programming languages such as C++, Java, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular and React.
- Working knowledge of the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Visio, HTML, SS (SCSS), Design Systems, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Proficient in visual design and wireframing tools.
- Strong background in website design, including analyzing data and pulling data points.
