Main Purpose
The Marine Operator plays a critical role in managing the logistics and blending of clean petroleum products, supporting trading activities and ensuring seamless post-deal operations. This position will primarily focus on the USGC and Latina America region but may extend to other product desks as required. The ideal candidate will coordinate all aspects of contract execution, provide market intelligence to traders, manage shipping and logistics.

The ideal candidate will coordinate all aspects of contract execution, provide market intelligence to traders, manage shipping and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and oversee the supply and stock management of petroleum products, including blending activities at terminals.
- Collaborate with inspectors, agents, shipbrokers, trade counterparties, and storage terminals to ensure smooth physical operations.
- Optimize logistics and minimize operational costs while adhering to strict deadlines.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide accurate and timely updates to traders and other departments regarding logistics and operations.
- Assist in identifying and assessing new business opportunities to support growth.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in oil logistics; experience in product blending is highly desirable.
- Comprehensive understanding of oil supply chain operations, logistics, and stock management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a commercial mindset.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines and work effectively in high-pressure environments.
- Excellent coordination and planning skills to handle complex logistical requirements.
- Proficiency in numerical analysis and forecasting to support supply planning.
Key Relationships:
- External: Trade counterparties, agents, surveyors, ship owners, and terminal personnel.
- Internal: Operations team, oil traders, chartering department, insurance personnel, storage teams, deal desk, and trade finance.
