$42.07 - $59.41 an hour - Full-Time Nights, 36 hours per week
*Range includes night differential +$2.50/hr for weekend shifts.
Boulder Community Health is seeking a Registered Nurse Weekend Premium for our Med Surg, who functions as a direct patient caregiver within the unit's care delivery system, with increasing independence. Integrates nursing theories in patient care.
Weekend Premium Position
Defined as 72hr worked hours with 80hr paid time
12hr shifts on Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Commit to 3 weekends per month; 1 weekend off per month
Enjoy flexibility of weekdays off
Great for working parents, people seeking a set schedule, getting paid for 8hr of unworked hours
Eligible for all premium pay and differentials - weekends, nights, incentive, holiday and overtime pay

Qualifications
Colorado RN license in good standing
BLS certification required within the conditional period of hired position.
ACLS encouraged for Clinical Team Leads.
Six months to one year RN clinical nursing experience preferred
Responsibilities
Provides direct total patient care for specific group of patients with collaboration as needed.
Demonstrates clinical competence in performing nursing procedures and identifies the rationale underlying the nursing skills.
Identifies patient care problems, makes interventions based upon an understanding of the biopsychosocial processes.
Assesses patient status systematically and anticipates and responds to changes in patient clinical condition.
Actively seeks participation of the patient, family, and other members of the health care team to assure continuity of patient care.
Communicates clearly in all aspects of documentation.
Practices universal precautions appropriately.
May be required to perform point of care testing. May be a point of care trainer.
Identifies patient learning needs, develops and implements and individualized teaching plan for patients.
Provides constructive input to problem-solving.
