This position is primarily based at the Paulding County Health Department in Dallas, Georgia, but may travel to both Haralson and Polk County Health Departments as needed. This position is an unclassified, full-time position working 40 hours per week. Please complete your online application with current and previous employment details and work experience.
Job Responsibilities
Under supervision of a senior APRN, performs advanced nursing functions and healthcare services in specialized areas. Operates under the nurse protocol agreement with delegating physician, conducts complete physicals, provides treatment, and counsels clients. May prescribe medication in some cases.
This position is primarily assigned to Family Planning and Women's Health Programs but may see patients for other programs/services as well.
Minimum Qualifications
Doctorate or Master's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university and/or other education requirements approved by the Georgia Board of Nursing AND certification in the specialty area(s) approved by Georgia Board of Nursing AND Georgia license as a Registered Professional Nurse AND Georgia license as an APRN AND CPR certification.

CBH accepts educational credential recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) and/or the US Department of Education (DOE) will be considered. CBH may contact educational institutions to verify degree, diploma, licensure, etc.
