Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise and retail network infrastructure, with a strong focus on Cisco Meraki and Arista environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in LAN, WAN, wireless networking, F5 load balancing, Infoblox (DNS/DHCP/IPAM), network monitoring (Splunk), and Cisco ISE (Identity Services Engine).
Roles & Responsibilities
Network Infrastructure Design & Implementation
Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise and retail network solutions, ensuring high availability and scalability.
Configure and manage Cisco Meraki and Arista switches, routers, and wireless access points.
Implement and support LAN/WAN connectivity across multiple locations, ensuring optimal network performance.
Manage wireless networks, including SSID configuration, authentication policies, and RF optimization.
Network Security & Access Control
Administer and configure Cisco ISE for network access control, policy enforcement, and 802.1X authentication.
Implement and manage firewall policies, VPNs, and secure remote access solutions.
Ensure compliance with security best practices and enterprise security policies.
Load Balancing & DNS/DHCP Management
Configure and maintain F5 load balancers, including virtual servers, pools, iRules, and SSL offloading.
Manage and optimize Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and IP address management (IPAM) for network automation and reliability.
Monitoring & Troubleshooting
Utilize Splunk, SolarWinds, or other monitoring tools for proactive network performance analysis and alerting.
Troubleshoot network issues across enterprise and retail environments, including packet analysis and log reviews.
Work closely with service providers and vendors to resolve WAN and ISP-related issues.
Network Automation & Optimization
Automate routine network tasks using Python, Ansible, or scripting tools.
Implement SD-WAN solutions to enhance network efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Optimize network performance through QoS policies and traffic engineering.
Documentation & Collaboration
Maintain detailed network diagrams, configurations, and runbooks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, cloud, infrastructure, retail IT) to support business operations.
Train junior engineers and provide knowledge-sharing sessions.
Technical Skills:
Cisco Meraki & Arista: Hands-on experience with configuration, troubleshooting, and management.
LAN/WAN & Wireless: Strong understanding of switching (VLANs, STP, LACP) and routing (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP).
Cisco ISE: Experience with 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, and endpoint profiling.
F5 Load Balancer: Experience with LTM, GTM, iRules, and SSL certificates.
Infoblox: Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and IP address management.
Monitoring & Logging: Experience with Splunk, SolarWinds, or other network monitori ng tools.
Network Security: Understanding of firewalls, VPNs, and NAC solutions.
Automation: Experience with Python, Ansible, or scripting for network automation (preferred).
Soft Skills:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Strong customer service orientation for supporting enterprise and retail networks.
Certifications (Preferred but Not Required):
