Must Have Technical/Functional Skills

• Hands-on experience with storage arrays Dell, EMC, and Netapp
• In-depth knowledge of storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, DAS, RAID, and file systems (e.g., NFS, SMB)
• Proficiency in storage management tools and protocols, such as Fibre Channel, iSCSI, NFS, CIFS/SMB, and SCSI.
• Strong understanding of data replication, backup, and disaster recovery concepts and methodologies
• Experience in virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and their integration with storage systems

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure storage hardware, including storage area networks (SANs), network-attached storage (NAS), and Direct attached storage
• Develop and maintain storage policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure efficient storage management and data protection.
• Monitor storage performance and capacity utilization and proactively address any issues to maintain optimal storage performance and availability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess storage requirements and provide recommendations for storage infrastructure improvements.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as firmware upgrades, patch management, and storage system configuration changes.
• Troubleshoot storage-related issues and work with vendors for problem resolution and hardware replacement if necessary.
• Participate in capacity planning activities to forecast future storage requirements and ensure scalability of storage infrastructure.
• Stay updated with emerging storage technologies, trends, and best practices, and evaluate their potential impact on the organizations storage environment.

• Ability to work independently under little supervision within a demanding client centric environment

Salary Range-$62,500-$120,000 a year
