Direct Counsel is seeking a 4th-5th year Commercial Litigation Associate to join a highly regarded business litigation practice in San Diego. This opportunity is ideal for a mid-level associate looking to handle complex commercial litigation, technology disputes, and class action defense at a top-tier law firm.
Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complex commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Oversee junior associates and professional staff, providing guidance and mentorship.
• Handle project-based litigation, managing multiple high-level assignments.
• Collaborate with technology, class action, and corporate litigation teams.

Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of business litigation experience at a comparable law firm.
• Strong background in complex commercial litigation; experience in technology litigation, class action defense, or company v. company disputes is a plus.
• Excellent writing, analytical, and case management skills.
• Admitted to the California Bar.
• High-level academic achievement from a nationally recognized law school.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $310,000 - $365,000 (based on experience and location).
