Overview

As a software engineer you will be responsible for the design, development, implementation and on-going support of .NET applications. Our team is looking for a high-performing software engineer who will be responsible for the development, implementation and on-going support of a data driven software platform. You will be doing .net development web development as well as developing against multiple data technologies. The right candidate will be somebody who is motivated to get it done, loves to continually learn and builds software utilizing modern technologies and strong engineering practices.

The candidate must be a self-starter with a sense of urgency and a commitment to quality and professionalism. The software engineer's responsibilities will be to design and develop applications and coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. In addition, background in the following areas will significantly elevate the candidate's ability to hit the ground running:
Strong understanding of media measurement and currency datasets.
Cloud infrastructure and data processing technologies.

Responsibilities

Role Objectives:
Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code
Integrate with API's for data consumption.
Develop scalable APIs that can be consumed by multiple teams.
Integrate with data storage solutions such as SQL Server.
Develop/Support ETL pipelines when needed with different technologies.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues.
Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications
Proficient in .net Core and C#.
Strong understanding of RESTful API's and knowledge of API design and management.
knowledge of various AWS services like API Gateway, Fargate, Lambda, ElasticCache, ECS, EKS
Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server and TSQL.
Knowledge of Entity Framework, Dapper, OWIN, IoC, WebAPI required.
Knowledge and understanding of JS frameworks like ReactJS is preferred.
Good knowledge of design patterns (Clean architecture).
Experience working with Agile Scrum teams.
Proficient understanding of Git based code versioning tools like Azure DevOps.
Familiarity with continuous integration tools like TeamCity.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred
5+ years of development experience.

Compensation Range: $72,390 - $109,480 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
