AprilAire is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Business Intelligence (BI) Manager to lead the organization's data analytics initiatives, with an initial focus on sales and financial reporting. The individual will oversee the development, implementation, and maintenance of BI solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with technical expertise in data integration, modeling, and visualization, have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and experience working with cross-functional teams. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of sales and financial reports, providing insights that support strategic business decisions.

This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of sales and financial reports, providing insights that support strategic business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various business functions for their data & analytics needs. Provide analysis and insights as needed to empower stakeholders with a deeper understanding of their business areas and enable better decision making.
- Manage and maintain the BI infrastructure within Microsoft Fabric, ensuring data integrity and system performance.
- Oversee data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration from various sources.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure smooth data integration with source systems.
- Lead the design and development of sales dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues and establish best practice standards to ensure the data is accurate and reliable.
- Train and mentor team members and stakeholders on BI tools and best practices.
- Manage internal and external resources as needed.
- Continuously evaluate and improve BI processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay current on advancements in BI technologies and best practices. Identify future opportunities to leverage machine learning and advanced analytics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related role.
- Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data visualization.
- Experience with DBT or similar data transformation tools.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar data platforms.
- Strong understanding of sales and financial data, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
- Excellent data modeling and visualization skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated project management skills and experience gathering and aligning business requirements across various stakeholders
