Responsibilities

Virginia Mason Medical Center Section of Pulmonology, part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, is recruiting a BC/BE Pulmonary Medicine Physician, fellowship trained, and AABIP BC/BE interventional pulmonologist to practice at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, WA.

This individual will perform advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including robotic bronchoscopy, pleuroscopy, tunneled pleural catheter placement and management, rigid bronchoscopy with stenting and intervention, lung cryobiopsy for interstitial lung disease, percutaneous tracheostomy, and bronchoscopic-lung volume reduction. They will work collaboratively with thoracic surgery, medical and radiation oncology, and pathology to support our lung cancer screening and multidisciplinary thoracic oncology program.

We have an active internal medicine residency program and the provider will be expected to teach and work with residents. Additionally there are opportunities for clinical and translational research supported by the Benaroya Research Institute.

Qualifications
  • Medical Degree
  • Completed ACGME Residency and Fellowship Training (ABIM) including AABIP certified Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship Training.
  • Board Certified/Eligible Pulmonary Medicine (ABIM)
  • Washington State Medical License and DEA in good standing prior to start date
Pay Range
$184.00 - $232.21 /hour
