RN Nurse Manager - Med-Surg | Full-Time | Days
We are seeking an experienced RN Nurse Manager to lead a Medical-Surgical Unit in a dynamic, patient-centered healthcare setting. This role requires strong leadership skills, operational oversight, and a commitment to quality care. The Nurse Manager will be responsible for ensuring staff performance, regulatory compliance, and departmental efficiency while fostering a collaborative environment.Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the Med-Surg unit to maintain high-quality patient care
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards (State, TJC, CMS, AHCA)
Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff to enhance team performance
Collaborate with hospital administration to manage budgets, resources, and program initiatives
Drive quality improvement efforts to enhance patient safety and clinical outcomes
Maintain effective interdisciplinary communication for optimal patient careQualifications
Current RN License in Florida (or Compact Licensure eligibility)
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
BLS Certification (Required within 30 days of start)
3+ years of clinical Med-Surg nursing experience in an acute care setting
