Job Title: Certified Surgical Technologist/Operating Room Technologist
Job Specialty: Operating Room
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 06:30-15:00

Experience: Minimum of 1 year required

Certifications: CV & Travel Experience required
Must-Have: Experience in general surgery, orthopedic and neurosurgery; candidates for CVOR must have at least two years of CVOR experience, including all adult open heart and endovascular cases.
Job Description:
- An 8-hour day shift from 06:30 to 15:00 with call requirements.
- Experience in trauma, robotics, and endovascular hybrid room equipment is needed.
- Proficiency with varied OR equipment, including microscopes, robotic systems (Da Vinci Xi and Mako Robot), laparoscopic Stryker tower, and Stealth systems.
- Individuals should be adaptable to working in different types of rooms with varied cases and be flexible in assisting various surgical procedures.
- The position may require work on weekends and potential call shifts based on unit needs.
- Typical unit procedures include X-lif, A-lif, decompression, ACDF, craniotomy, and robotic surgery (thoracic, general, gyn, and urology), as well as ortho trauma and general open and laparoscopic surgery.
- Cardiovascular procedures such as CABG, valve surgeries, aortic surgeries (including traumas), TAVR, TCAR, TEVAR, EVAR, and open vascular cases are performed on the unit.
- Preferred candidates will have trauma and vascular surgery experience.
- The unit has 11 operating rooms staffed by a team that includes RNs, techs, and PCTs with various shifts.
- Strong team players who are willing to adapt and help onboard new techs or RNs are encouraged to apply.
- Light blue scrubs are provided and required attire.
