Description:

Description:
***LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY*** The preference is for local candidates who are able to work on site in Vacaville at least a few days a week. But if the candidate is already very familiar with navigating around the PG&E corporate network, the technologies and applications related to RAS Operations, and our regulatory compliance environment, a non-local candidate could potentially be successful.

- We expect the candidates to work on site as needed for in-person interaction with the hiring manager and other RAS Team Members, access to company resources, visibility of the RAS Team work environment. We expect that initially there will be more on site interaction required, and as the candidates gain familiarity with the work, the on site requirement will be reduced. After the initial ramp up period, the need to work on site or remotely will be determined primarily by the nature of the work and what access will be required to other team members, systems and equipment.

TOP THINGS:
o Relevant work experience in an operational environment with industrial automation systems like programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs) and related technologies and concepts. Bonus if that experience is with the same technologies used in RAS Operations including both operations and IT-oriented technologies.
o Technical writing proficiency - specifically drafting work procedures, technical specifications, and other such documents; able to draft technical documents to a diverse audience (including non-technical readers). As such, proficiency with Microsoft Office Word and Excel is a must. Database experience could be a plus.
o Relevant work experience in a regulated environment, where they had to draft formal compliance documents, follow compliance procedures and develop compliance evidence. Bonus if that experience was related to NERC CIP or other cybersecurity related compliance.

***PG&E Laptop will be provided***
