Amazon is looking for a motivated product leader for the ROW Middle Mile team. In this role, you will:
- Define, design, launch and manage tech products to enable new services for ATS customers.
- Gather requirements and conceptualize a tech solution to solve a business problem.
- Own and drive the product portfolio and product roadmap.
- Work with key stake holders across various functions to define and launch a product.
- Manage technical integration with Amazon systems across retail, merchant, transportation operations and finance technologies.
- Setup end-to-end operational, accounting, and financial taxation requirements, and performance measurement and customer satisfaction related processes.
- Launch and expand the product as per Amazon's requirements while being responsible for all customer and merchant satisfaction, performance, compliance, accounting, and financial related metrics.
- Use customer and market feedback, competitive analysis, and business metrics to make informed decisions.
- Exhibit product expertise that connects, understands, and leverages company-wide assets and capabilities.
- Evaluate launch outcomes and reintegrate learning into the organization and product plan.
This role calls for an individual who can own all aspects of how transportation impacts customer experience, shipper experience, and operator experience; manage performance and measure, determine, then drive, any initiatives necessary to improve it. It requires an individual to showcase judgment and decision making skills to balance customer experience with financial impact. This position offers a broad exposure to various business, financial, and technical teams within Amazon.
The successful candidate will be a person who enjoys and excels at dealing with ambiguity and design and define products with little information. They will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to create and sustain urgency, and a proven ability to lead large cross-functional projects including communication across all levels and teams in the organization: senior leaders, technical teams, finance, fulfillment, and business leaders.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Logistics, or similar field from an accredited university OR 4+ years' relevant work experience
- 4+ years of experience working in cross-functional environments with tech, product, or other operations teams
- 4+ years of experience owning product and program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- 4+ years of experience in project management designing workable solutions and driving projects to implementation
- 4+ years of experience coordinating complex product development cycles
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Completed Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Research or similar field from preferably a top-tier Computer Science or Business school
- Project management experience that shows how to organize, find solutions and follow through to a successful conclusion
- Strong analytical and data gathering skills, including the ability to translate large amounts of data into actionable insights
- Demonstrated bias for action and an ability to deal with ambiguity
- Can adapt well to changing circumstances, direction, and strategy
- Strong written and verbal communication

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
