Technology Business Analyst / Sr. Technology Business Analyst Task Order Description
Work with the Business Analyst in the Police Department to conduct business and process analysis to gather business requirements in preparation for a Jail Management System replacement project. Results of the analysis will be documented and used to prepare a request for proposal for the replacement project.

Majority of the time will be spent at the Detention Center.
Deliverables
t the end of the engagement, business analysis of Henderson Detention Center processes as they relate to the Jail Management System (OffenderTrak) will be completed and documented in a format to be provided that can be used to populate the requirements section of an RFP. Requirements may also be used to develop use cases for demonstration and testing purposes. AS IS and TO BE diagraming will not be part of this engagement.
Required Skills and Experience
Must be able to pass a nationwide fingerprint-based record check, and a wants/warrants check. Must complete Security Awareness and National Crime Information Center (NCIC)/Nevada Criminal Justice Information System (NCJIS) certification as a condition of employment.
t least 5 years' experience conducting business and process analysis, documenting results. Knowledge of the principals and practices of business analysis and project management; a high-level understanding of the architecture of enterprise and end-user computing; principles and practices of system analysis and customer support; advanced social and communication skills necessary for leading business analysis efforts. The ability to translate business analysis outcomes and needs into requirements, professionally document, organize, communicate, and present the information in both formal and informal settings. Effectively communicate verbally and in writing in both technical and business language.
Desired Skills and Experience
Previous experience with public safety organizations and entities a plus.
