Operating as one of the world's largest energy delivery systems across clean energy, electric, gas and steam services. We are looking for a SCADA Engineer/Specialist to join the Gas Controls division; this is a full-time opportunity on a hybrid 7:00 am-3:30 pm schedule with two days in the Rye office and one day in the Bronx office weekly.
This is a new position with the Gas Controls team to innovate and streamline training tools for Gas System Operators in the division. This will be done by working closely with the Senior Gas System Operator to develop, configure, and maintain their SCADA Twin simulator and Gas Transmission System digital twin pipeline model simulator.
This role involves designing SCADA system architectures, performing system updates and maintenance, conducting transmission studies, and troubleshooting issues to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the gas transportation system. The engineer will create reports, analyze records for improvements, collaborate with multi-discipline teams, and conduct training sessions with new hires. They will also ensure compliance with cybersecurity and regulatory standards, implement changes through Management of Change processes, and use pipeline simulation software for system contingencies and pre-planning. To integrate the SCADA Twin simulator and associated systems, this individual will be collaborating with cross functional teams. To be successful in this position it is imperative to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills on a team dynamic as well as a willingness to learn new skills in a new environment.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Engineering or equivalent
2+ Years of experience in process control, oil and gas or related
1+ year of experience with AutoCAD and/or Visio
Strong experience with SCADA simulation systems and Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
Clear and effective communication and interpersonal skills
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Knowledge of hydraulics, automation, modeling, measurement/instrumentation, and experience with direct gas transmission/distribution systems operation and gas transportation
Proficiency in SQL, Linux/Unix
