PCU Clinical Nurse Coordinator
Location: Hermitage, TN
Pay Range: $34.24 - $45.75/hr (based on experience)
Shift Differentials:
Schedule: Full-Time, Nights (7 PM - 7 AM) with rotating weekends (Friday-Sunday, 2 weekends/month)
Sign-On Bonus: $20,000
Relocation Assistance: $5,000 (if over 50 miles from facility)Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated PCU Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to join the Progressive Care Unit at a 234-bed facility recognized for excellence in heart and stroke care. This position offers an opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while leading a multidisciplinary team in a 34-bed unit that specializes in telemetry, COVID, neuro, and pulmonary care.Key Responsibilities
- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to deliver customized, patient-centered care.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, and coordinating patient care.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve team performance and engagement.
- Support staff scheduling and ensure efficient operations on the unit.
- Monitor and evaluate nursing care in collaboration with leadership.
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5
- Drips Managed: Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, Lasix, Protonix, and others
- Patient Conditions: Chest pain, hypertensive urgency, CVA, TIA, sepsis, altered mental status, and more
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN required)
- Licensure: Active RN License
- Certifications (must be obtained within 30 days of hire):
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS or CPR)
- ACLS
- NIHSS Stroke Certification
- Experience: Previous Charge Nurse experience required
