What You'll Do
  • Manage and oversee daily operations of a high-volume HVAC service department
  • Lead, hire, and train a team of service technicians on both technical and sales knowledge
  • Evaluate workload and scheduling to optimize technician efficiency and maximize service calls
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring effective communication between customers, office staff, sales, and field technicians
  • Teach and implement proper diagnostic techniques for all residential and light commercial equipment, including high-efficiency inverter systems
  • Stay up to date on new technologies and products in the field and incorporate them into training
  • Monitor and report on team performance, ensuring productivity and revenue goals are met
  • Ensure proper documentation of service calls/jobs according to company requirements
  • Promote a positive, high-energy team culture and provide leadership that drives success
What You Bring
  • 5+ years of experience in residential HVAC (management experience preferred)
  • Strong technical background with expertise in diagnosing and servicing all HVAC systems
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to develop and motivate a team
  • Sales-driven mindset, with experience coaching technicians on upselling and customer engagement
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, etc.)
  • Valid U.S. Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record (required)
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug test (required)
  • Physical ability to handle heavy equipment and work outdoors as needed
