Description:
Azure DevOps Engineer
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Proficiency in Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure automation.
Hands-on experience with the Ansible Automation Platform.
Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services (e.g., Compute, Storage, Networking, Databases, AKS, etc.).
Expertise in creating and managing Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD.
Solid experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (preferably AKS).
Familiarity with code quality and security tools such as SonarQube and Snyk.
Strong understanding of DevOps principles, including configuration management, continuous integration, and deployment.
Relevant certifications, such as Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer (AZ 400), Terraform Associate, Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform Specialist, or Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), are a plus.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Scripting experience with PowerShell, Python, or other languages.
Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Prometheus).
Familiarity with Helm for Kubernetes package management.
Exposure to GitOps principles and tools (e.g., Flux, ArgoCD).
Experience with ServiceNow for workflow and incident management.
Roles & Responsibilities
Should have a good understanding of the day-to-day operations of DevOps.
Experience in Quality gates and vulnerabilities detection using static code analysis
Work with applications and other cross functional teams to understand the gaps.
Should be able to operate and deliver in Agile delivery model
Should be aware of all the Agile ceremonies
Should have good analytical skills and should be able to analyze the given problem.
Should be aware of the CI/CD tools and their relevance
Analyze test/configuration results and coordinate with teams for any bug fixes.
Metric Reporting Should be able to prepare reports on important parameters
Automation Should be able to use the available tools to avoid any manual effort.
Suggest new tools and techniques to improve operation efficiency.
Review and recommend improvements to existing DevOps procedures.
Very Good communication skills and good stakeholder management
Salary Range- $120,000-$140,000 a year
