Reporting to the Executive Director of Academic and Enterprise Systems, the Project Manager serves as a liaison, consultant, and trusted partner, collaborating with campus stakeholders, vendors, and external organizations to align technology solutions with institutional objectives. This role oversees project lifecycles and ensures timely, resource-conscious, and scope-compliant completion of projects.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in project management methodologies; strong communication, time management and organizational skills; experience supporting diverse teams and adapting to evolving project requirements and a commitment to collaboration and delivering results.

Responsibilities include:
- Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop detailed project plans with timelines and milestones
- Align project goals with the University's strategic objectives
- Monitor progress, manage changes, and address issues proactively
- Implement effective change management practices
- Act as a business partner, assessing needs and aligning solutions with strategies
- Partner with technical teams to evaluate and implement solutions
- Organize and lead meetings, prepare agendas and minutes
- Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders and teams
- Motivate and guide team members through project lifecycles
- Assign responsibilities and scope of authority to project staff
- Perform risk assessments and implement mitigation plans
- Proactively address challenges and collaborate on solutions
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or a related field
- Demonstrated proficiency with project management tools and methodologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Two years of professional experience in information technology, business management, or a related field
- Experience in project management methodologies and best practices or a certification in Project Management or Scrum Master
- Experience in higher education or an academic environment
- Demonstrated proficiency with project management tools used in higher education such as ServiceNow and Jira
