Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse

Job Specialty: Hospice/Home Health

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 8-hour days

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience: Minimum of three years of current experience in a comparable patient care setting; hospice experience preferred.

License: Current State of Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license

Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Must-Have:
- Valid driver's license
- Current auto liability insurance
- Reliable transportation

Job Description:
- Provide patient-centered care in hospice and home health settings.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Assess and monitor patients' conditions and report changes to the medical team.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
- Ensure compliance with nursing standards and practice.
- Participate in developing and implementing patient care plans.
- Document nursing care and patient status thoroughly and accurately.
- Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor at all times.
