Job Description
Job Title: Registered Nurse - Oncology

Job Specialty: Oncology

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the oncology specialty

License: Registered Nurse License

Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Preferred Chemotherapy/Biotherapy certification

Must-Have: Willingness to float between specified locations

Job Description:

- Access ports and perform related procedures
- Access and change dressings for PICC lines
- Initiate intravenous therapy
- Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, iron infusions, injections, and other treatments
- Conduct nursing assessments and document findings
- Facilitate distress screening tools for patients
- Handle prescription refills
- Assist with end-of-care needs as required
- Document and maintain electronic health records (EHR)
- Scan and upload documents into the EHR system
