ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Effectively manage all aspects of dealership operations with a focus on driving performance and fostering a positive work environment.
- Mentor and develop managers, leaders, and employees to enhance skills, improve efficiency, and achieve success.
- Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and ensure all team members are held accountable for achieving results.
- Communicate management policies and procedures to all team members, fostering transparency and maintaining strong team morale.
- Promote harmony and teamwork across all departments to ensure seamless operations and a unified dealership culture.
- Excel in verbal and written communication to effectively negotiate deals, present strategies, and enhance customer interactions.
- Maintain outstanding CSI scores by delivering exceptional customer service and proactively addressing concerns.
- Regularly support the Sales Desk and assist in closing deals to generate revenue and customer satisfaction.
- Build and sustain good working relationships with lending institutions to facilitate financing options and vehicle sales.
- Work closely with factory representatives to secure inventory and align with manufacturer objectives.
- Develop and implement comprehensive operational plans to set and achieve dealership goals for the coming year.
- Analyze and refine monthly forecasts and plans for all variable operations to maximize efficiency.
- Ensure all departments operate efficiently and remain profitable through effective cost management and revenue generation.
- Maintain full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations affecting new and used vehicle sales.
- Ensure that department managers continue the training and supervising of employees for optimum effectiveness.
- Address and resolve escalated customer concerns to maintain a high level of satisfaction and dealership reputation.
- Develop merchandising strategies and assist in creating a cost-effective advertising program to attract and retain customers.

Experience and Skills
REQUIREMENTS:
- 7-10 years of automotive industry experience required, with a proven track record as a General Manager or General Sales Manager.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license with a record that meets First Team policy standards.
- Must have or obtain a Virginia Automotive Sales License.
