Description:

A exponentially growing Logistics Company near Cranbury, NJ, is searching for a highly motivated and analytical Director of FP&A to join their expanding team. This key role will be responsible for providing critical financial insights to support strategic decision-making within a private equity environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting & Analysis:

  • Develop and oversee the financial reporting framework, including key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow analysis.
  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and scenario planning, including customer profitability analysis, to identify areas for improvement and growth.
  • Prepare weekly flash reports to monitor key operational and financial metrics, including volume analytics and pricing/margin analysis.
Strategic Financial Planning:
  • Support strategic initiatives with financial modeling and analysis, including investment and capital expenditure evaluations.
  • Partner closely with senior leadership to communicate financial results and provide recommendations for strategic direction.
Financial Modeling & Analysis:
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models for key business decisions.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of operational and financial performance to identify areas for improvement and growth.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 4-6 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with prior experience in a private equity environment highly preferred. Experience in the logistics or warehousing industry is also highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in financial modeling software.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Compensation: $150,000-$180,000
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
