Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular Operating Room (RN CVOR)
Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse
Job Duration: 13-week assignment
Shift: 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Adults and pediatric experience necessary
License: Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
Must-Have: Experience in both adult and pediatric cardiovascular operations
Job Description:
- Responsible for providing critical nursing care during cardiovascular surgeries.
- Coordinate with surgical teams to prepare for operations and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Deliver patient care with precision and empathy, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
- Participate in 10 shifts of on-call duty a month, including one weekend of 48 hours.
- Maintain a sterile environment and assist surgeons during procedures.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and respond quickly to any changes in condition.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain thorough records.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
