Currently, we are looking for a Fixed Facilities Integration Coordinator with a Rail engineering project background to join our team on a permanent basis. This role is hybrid and may involve some site visits with our clients although our main office is downtown.
The Fixed Facilities Integration Coordinator ensures that the design of the Fixed Facilities within the project is properly integrated and meets the project technical requirements. The FFA Integration Coordinator will integrate all F.F.A disciplines, ensuring that the interfaces between them and with external disciplines are completely addressed. The Fixed Facilities Integration Coordinator will also be responsible for ensuring that the FFA disciplines use the appropriate tools and methodologies to track the requirements through all the phases of the project.
The candidate will be joining the Integration discipline and become part of a multidisciplinary and dynamic team composed of engineers from a wide variety of backgrounds. As part of the Integration discipline, the candidate will learn how to effectively integrate large and complex projects and apply Systems Engineering processes.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the implementation of Systems Engineering processes for F.F.A. (Requirements and Interfaces)
- Ensure that all interfaces are identified for all the F.F.A related disciplines, and addressed, and resolved by the correspondent discipline leads
- Ensure that Civil, Structural, Geotechnical and Architectural disciplines interfaces with external disciplines are addressed and resolved
- Ensure full traceability between the FFA discipline technical requirements and the final design solutions
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as safety, security and environmental to ensure that their requirements are adequately transferred to the FFA disciplines
- Identify integration conflicts between the FFA disciplines and external disciplines and, together with the discipline leads, establish a plan to resolve them early during design
- Identify, together with discipline leads, potential non conformances with the technical requirements and establish a plan to resolve them
- Overall, coordinate with Work Package managers and Design Leads to ensure that the final FFA design delivered is fully integrated with all the elements and systems of the project
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have a Degree in Civil engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in design of Fixed Facilities (civil works, structural design or similar) for railway projects
- P Eng is preferred but not mandatory
- Cross-cutting understanding of the different disciplines involved in railway projects
- Capable of reviewing and understanding Fixed Facilities technical requirements
- Capable of identifying, analyzing and managing technical interfaces related to Fixed Facilities disciplines
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365
- Versatility in the use of different Software tools
