The Air Force Research Laboratory's Power and Control Division is seeking a highly motivated individual to lead the Integrated Power, Thermal, and Control Digital Environment Program. As the program manager, you will play a pivotal role in advancing the digital engineering capabilities of the division and contribute to the development of next-generation aircraft systems.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage the Integrated Power, Thermal, and Control Digital Environment Program, collaborating with stakeholders across the division, AFRL, and external organizations to establish a unified vision and drive transformative change.
- Provide technical expertise and/or strategic guidance to project managers, ensuring alignment with division goals and objectives while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Identify and address gaps and opportunities in digital engineering capabilities, fostering cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement to bridge gaps, leverage strengths, and advance the division's digital engineering maturity.
- Serve as a digital engineering advocate, promoting the adoption of advanced tools and methodologies to enhance system performance.
- Develop and implement strategies to advance digital tools and methodologies, enhancing the design and optimization of power, thermal management, autonomy, and control solutions for cutting-edge aircraft systems.

Required Qualifications
- Current federal employees must include a copy of their most recent SF50
- U.S. citizenship
- Successful completion of a full 4-year course of study in an accredited college or university leading to a bachelor's or higher degree that included a major field of study or specific course requirements generally related to engineering
- Specialized experience in power, thermal, and/or control systems engineering, systems engineering, or related fields at the DR-03/GS-14 level or above.
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Security Clearance
Desired Qualifications
- PhD in a relevant engineering field is preferred
- 3+ years experience in digital engineering, including experience in model-based systems engineering, and/or verification and validation.
- 3+ years experience in power, thermal, and/or control systems engineering, integrated systems.
- Experience with division-level strategic planning and collaboration
