President of Wealth Management | Central Florida
A highly regarded Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) with multiple offices and $1.2B+ in AUM seeks a President for their $700m+ Wealth Management division. The firm also has a multi-family office (MFO) division.
The President of Wealth Management will be a senior leader, playing a key role in driving the firm's next phase of growth. They will oversee all aspects of the wealth management business, including strategic expansion, operational management, team leadership, and client development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams, scaling an advisory business, and maintaining a client-first approach.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute a strategic growth plan, including organic growth, client acquisition, and M&A opportunities
Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team of financial advisors and support staff
Lead, manage, and hold the leadership team accountable for achieving key objectives
Identify and implement innovative practices to enhance service delivery and client experience
Execute the business plan while achieving or exceeding P&L objectives
Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and compliance with regulatory requirements
Implement processes and technologies to streamline workflows, boost productivity, and enhance client experience
Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to drive business success
Identify and resolve challenges effectively, addressing conflicts head-on and driving solutions
Foster a collaborative workplace culture that attracts, retains, and develops top talent
Partner with department heads to set objectives, manage performance, and ensure alignment with firm goals
Serve as a key point of contact for high-value clients and strategic partners as needed
Support initiatives to enhance client satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement
Promote a client-first culture, demonstrating dedication and commitment to long-term relationships
Develop and oversee marketing and business development strategies to expand the firm's market presence
Oversee client onboarding, regular reviews, and ongoing communications to ensure engagement and retention
Collaborate with key leaders to maintain alignment on strategic initiatives and firm objectives
Recognize and translate unique contributions and ideas into actionable plans
Partner with the Founder on high-level strategic initiatives and the firm's market positioning
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
CFP, CFA, CPA, or other relevant professional certifications are highly desirable
15+ years of progressive leadership experience in financial services or wealth management
Proven experience scaling a wealth management or financial services firm, preferably within an RIA
Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and fiduciary standards for RIAs
Visionary leader with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams
Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse stakeholders
Strong business acumen with a track record of achieving financial targets
High emotional intelligence and cultural competence, driving a results-focused organization
