Job Description
Job Title: Interim Pharmacy Director
Job Specialty: Management

Certifications: BLS, Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS)
Must-Have: Cerner experience, 5-10 years of hospital experience, at least 2 years of management-level experience

Job Description:

- Oversee pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Manage a team of pharmacists and support staff.
- Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care.
- Ensure proper medication dispensing and inventory management using Omnicell systems.
- Utilize Alaris IV pumps with Guardrails Editor software.
- Provide pharmacy expertise for medical surgery, telemetry, NICU, ICU, ER, and family birth center services.
- Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists available 24/7.
- Participate in a 3-day general hospital orientation, including TEAM (timekeeping system) training.
- Offer emergency phone availability outside of regular shifts.
- Work in an environment with a supportive team in a community-focused setting.

Note: This is a non-teaching facility. No separate COVID unit is available, and COVID vaccine is not required.
