Lead Business Analyst - BISD
The Lead Business Analyst - BISD role will serveas the lead of an experienced team of business analysts, responsible for guidingand supporting the analysis, documentation of requirements, and improvement ofbusiness processes across multiple projects. This role combines mentorship withhands-on analytical work, driving successful project delivery by ensuring thatbusiness requirements are well understood, clearly documented, and aligned withthe organization's goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Support:
Lead, guide, and support a team ofbusiness analysts, fostering consistency and knowledge-sharing within the team.
Assign, prioritize, and oversee teamworkloads to ensure optimal performance and timely project delivery.
Conduct regular peer reviews andprovide coaching to help team members meet project goals and deadlines.
Requirements:
Oversee the gathering and analysis ofbusiness requirements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs.
Lead the documentation of detailedbusiness processes, user stories, and acceptance criteria, supporting thedevelopment of system enhancements.
Ensure consistent use of requirementsmanagement tools and methodologies within the team.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as the primary liaison betweenbusiness stakeholders, IT, and development teams to ensure project alignmentand clarity on requirements.
Collaborate with project managers,product owners, and other key stakeholders to prioritize backlogs, mitigaterisks, and ensure smooth project execution.
Facilitate workshops and meetings tounderstand business needs and provide regular project updates to seniorleadership.
Reporting:
Monitor and track progress on multipleprojects, ensuring that business analysts deliverables meet quality standardsand timelines.
Conduct regular reviews of teamoutputs, including user stories, business process flows, and requirementstraceability, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
Lead efforts in testing andvalidation, ensuring solutions meet business needs before deployment.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with IT, vendors, andexternal consultants to ensure that business requirements are accuratelytranslated into technical solutions.
Drive cross-functional initiatives,ensuring alignment between business goals and technical implementations.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role managing or mentoring teams.
- Strong expertise in Agile methodologies, including experience managing product and sprint backlogs.
- Proven experience translating complex business requirements into clear, actionable documentation (user stories, acceptance criteria, etc.).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across various teams and departments.
- Expertise in process modeling, root cause analysis, and process improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive insights and decision-making.
- Experience working with enterprise-level systems and multi-module applications.
- Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or other requirements management platforms.
- Experience with statistical tools and data analysis is a plus.
- CBAP, CSPO, PMP, or other relevant certifications are preferred.
