What You'll Be Doing
The Alternative Investment Client Service Specialist is responsible for supporting Stifel's alternative investment business through superior product support to advisors and fund partners. This includes interacting with sales team via phone and email to provide general information in response to inquiries related to alternative investments and working collaboratively with teammates to facilitate the offering process. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, high attention to detail and be a team player.
What We're Looking For
Provide the highest quality of customer service through written and verbal communications.
Process alternative investment transactions in Stifel's alternative investment order and fulfillment tool by conducing eligibility and document reviews
Assist Fund partners and their administrators in remediation of any outstanding items related to client orders
Assist in reconciliation efforts during fund closings by interfacing with fund partners and Operations teams to support transaction booking efforts
Support the Alternative Investment hot line by answering questions related to the business from advisors, sales assistants, branch managers etc.
Constantly review the current process and procedures to identify inefficiencies. Identify and provide potential solutions to improve the process.
Reconcile / process commission payments to the advisors.
Help gather information for internal/external audits.
Run with various department projects
Develop and maintain positive relationships with fund partners and key stakeholders to assist or enhance the client experience

Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.
High proficiency in MS Excel
Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing client and personal services.
Effective communication skills both verbal and written.
Education & Experience
Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree, with a strong record of achievement
1+ year of client service experience required
Systems & Technology
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SQL
Compensation Range
Salary: USD $80,000.00/Yr. - USD $93,000.00/Yr.
Actual salaries may vary, and may be based on several factors, including but not limited to each candidate's qualifications, skills, and overall competencies for the position.The base salary is one component of Stifel's overall compensation package for each individual employee.
