• Days (Rotating Weekends)
• Nights (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: 38.15-38.15-61.29 per hour (based on experience)
• Relocation Assistance: Case by case

Role Overview:
The Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for the Pediatric Emergency Department is responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while ensuring optimal unit operations. The CNC collaborates closely with the management team to uphold care standards, support staff performance, and foster a teamwork-driven environment to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Oversee admission and discharge processes to ensure efficiency and patient satisfaction.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and support for staff development.
• Manage staff schedules to meet patient care needs.
• Partner with subject matter experts to implement service improvements.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 1-2 years of recent leadership experience in acute care as a charge nurse in an ED setting.
• Education: BSN required.
• Licensure/Certifications:
  
  • Active RN license in TX or compact state.
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required (specific timelines apply).
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) to be completed within 18 months of hire.

Additional Information:

• Pediatric Emergency Department: 30 beds.
• Team Size: Approximately 52 team members.
• Trauma Level: Level II Pediatric ED.
