Job Description:

The Director of Business Development Analytics & AI plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of our firm's marketing, communications and business development (MCBD) data strategy and technological advancements. This position seamlessly integrates cutting-edge AI technologies with our client engagement and growth efforts. The Director of Business Development Analytics & AI will possess a deep understanding of data analytics, AI, and emerging industry trends, enabling them to drive innovation and deliver actionable insights that support our firm's strategic goals.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement a comprehensive marketing and business development data strategy, build out/refine relevant infrastructure to support the strategy and continue to evolve based on emerging best practices and industry & technology trends
  • Develop, implement, and refresh complex data models from disparate datasets to build strong sales predictive analytics models to help shorten the sales cycle, highlight more marketing and BD opportunities, and use new scoring tactics to better understand client relationships
  • Enhance the firm's data visualization outputs through tools to communicate trends, actionable insights, and other learnings
  • Analyze, interpret, and report actionable insights in connection with the firm's business data
  • Collaborate with leaders in the MCBD department, along with senior leaders across different departments, to identify data orchestration needs, strategies, and buildouts to alleviate manual efforts and enable real-time or near real-time reporting that help accomplish data analysis goals
  • Build, deploy, and evolve AI agents that interact with Salesforce, Foundation, PowerBI, and other firmwide data collection systems
  • Evolve and enhance comprehensive client profiles that incorporate data sources from internal systems, external APIs, and other third-party sources
  • Execute sophisticated hypothesis testing to provide predictive analysis on client growth, cross-sell and churn, using data to assess and develop right-fit client models
  • Monitor industry trends and advancements in AI and data analytics, and implement and evolve best practices for the MCBD department
  • Collaborate with the Information Technology (IT) and Knowledge Management (KM) teams to ensure seamless integration of data strategies and AI initiatives in order to enhance data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency
  • Engage with clients to better understand a stronger, technology driven client experience and provide recommendations to McDermott digital services team and other stakeholders to evolve our digital service offerings
  • Lead and mentor team members aligned to data strategy and analysis, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement


Job Specifications:
  • At least fifteen (15) years of experience in data analytics, AI, or a related field
  • Secondary degree (Masters or higher) in data analytics, computer science, or a related technical discipline
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing data models and AI solutions
  • Strong knowledge and experience with data collections systems such as: Salesforce, Foundation, and PowerBI
  • Innovative mindset with a passion for leveraging technology to drive business growth
  • Strong knowledge of data collection systems
  • Strong knowledge of developing and implementing data models and AI solutions
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders and clients


Successful candidates will be provided with outstanding career opportunities and will receive a competitive total rewards package with the opportunity to earn performance-based bonuses.
Target Hiring Range $244,000 - $348,000
Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. Base pay is only one part of the Total Rewards that MWE provides to compensate and recognize our staff professionals for their work. Full time positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and a comprehensive benefits package.
