Position Summary
Facilities and maintenance are the backbone of pharmaceutical excellence, ensuring every medication is produced in an environment that meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance. As Director of Facilities and Maintenance, you will lead the strategy and execution of facility operations, driving innovation in manufacturing infrastructure, sustainability, and regulatory readiness. Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops and executes comprehensive facilities management strategies to ensure compliance with Food and Drug Administration, United States USP, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations, maintaining a state of operational readiness and regulatory adherence at all times.
- Leads cross-functional teams in the proactive maintenance, calibration, and continuous improvement of pharmaceutical manufacturing and cleanroom environments, ensuring optimal functionality, reliability, and efficiency of critical infrastructure, utilities, and equipment.
- Collaborates with executive leadership, quality assurance, and production teams to align facility operations with business objectives, driving cost-effective solutions, risk mitigation, and long-term sustainability of manufacturing capabilities.
- Manages capital projects, renovations, and expansions, overseeing budgeting, vendor negotiations, and project execution to enhance operational capacity while maintaining stringent safety, compliance, and quality standards.
- Implements and enforces robust preventive and predictive maintenance programs, leveraging data-driven insights and best practices to maximize equipment lifespan, reduce downtime, and support uninterrupted pharmaceutical production.

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities and maintenance management within a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare manufacturing environment, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing facility operations, compliance, and capital projects.
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related technical field; Master's degree in business administration, engineering management, or a related discipline is preferred.
