Description:
The Director of Quality will be responsible for leading and developing the company's quality assurance and quality control programs. This individual will oversee compliance with industry regulations, customer requirements, and internal quality standards while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and drive operational efficiency.

KEY RESULT AREAS:
- Develop, implement, and oversee quality management systems (QMS) to ensure compliance with industry standards (ISO, FDA, GMP, etc.).
- Lead the development and execution of quality strategies, ensuring continuous improvement in product and process quality.
- Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for measuring quality performance across all departments.
- Manage and mentor a team of quality professionals to drive best practices in quality assurance and control.
- Work closely with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and customer expectations.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to prevent recurring issues.
- Develop and execute supplier quality management programs, including audits and corrective actions.
- Implement and support lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives to enhance overall quality.
- Act as the primary liaison for customer quality concerns and complaints, ensuring prompt resolution and communication.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (Master's degree, preferred)
- 10+ years of experience quality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, FDA regulations, GMP, and other relevant quality standards.
- Experience working in manufacturing, preferably in the foodservice, healthcare, or janitorial industries.
- Proven track record of implementing and maintaining quality management systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Excellent leadership and team development abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green or Black Belt) is a plus.
