Job Description

Job Summary:

Located in Niceville, FL, FLIR is looking for an energetic, self-starter to design and develop embedded and application software on a full-time basis to support state-of-the-art infrared camera and data acquisition systems.

DetailedDescription:

Plans, designs, develops and tests software/firmware computer programs for Science and Research applications. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of software systems. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design. Tracks and manages product development tasks and projects.

Requirements:

Working experience with the following is required:

Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and/or Computer ScienceAt least 5 years of hands-on programming experienceLanguages: C and C++Microsoft Visual Studio IDE

Successful candidates will also possess good communication skills (verbal and written), have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and be highly self-motivated including having the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-tech product development environment.
