Senior Test Engineer Nashua
Job Description:
- Support Manufacturing Test for a wide variety of MACOM products.
- Facilitate new products transitions from engineering to manufacturing.
- Coordinate with Product Engineering to communicate future Test requirements.
- Develop and coordinate activities focused on testing of products and systems.
- Work closely with and provide feedback to design and manufacturing engineers.
- Perform Calibration and Test while Troubleshooting product.
- Analyze test data and write formal reports on findings.
- Determine Root-cause test failures to ensure issues are understood.
- Develop and implement enhancements as part of continuous improvement.
- Document new test procedures as required.
Key Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of RF, digital, and hardware architectures and design.
- Ability to understand complex electrical schematics and PCB layouts.
- Experience in designing and testing complex mixed signal electrical systems.
- Working knowledge of PCIe, I2C, SPI technologies.
- Able to quickly debug complex RF Test systems.
- Be able to communicate complex engineering concepts clearly and concisely.
- Able to analyze parametric data and make sense of what it represents in the real world.
- Knowledge of automated test systems to include communication hardware, software, programming, and calibrating.
- Understanding of metrology, sources of measurement error, and uncertainty analysis.
- Due to ITAR regulations, only candidates who are U.S. Persons (U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, or individuals granted asylum or refugee status) will be considered for this position.
Required Experience:
- Position requires a BS in EE or related field of study.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Test Manufacturing environment.
Desired Experience:
- Experience with high frequency and high power measurements.
- Experience with advanced test hardware integration.
- Experience with test equipment and measurement techniques to verify and validate product requirements.
