Regional Safety Manager

Title: Regional Safety Manager - Texas Safety Director

Location: Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas

Salary: $100,000 - $135,000

Duties:

• Lead the development and implementation of HSE guidelines, policies, and procedures that align with company objectives.
• Engage with Business Line Management to tackle challenges and fulfill customer mandates, ensuring robust support for HSE initiatives.
• Stay ahead of pending legislation and regulatory mandates, crafting compliance strategies and effectively communicating these throughout the organization.
• Collaborate with Line and Project Management on regulatory compliance, incident reporting, and case management.
• Spearhead safety training programs, ensuring relevance, compliance, and effectiveness.
• Drive safety culture through behavioral change, influence, and engagement, ensuring safety becomes a core aspect of our operational DNA.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with DOT/OSHA regulations, leveraging audits, training, and expert consultations.
• Maintain a visible and proactive role in the project safety process, acting as a key point for safety process communication and enhancements.
• Foster relationships with external professionals and organizations to stay abreast of best practices and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of leadership experience in HSE roles, with at least 3 years in management. 3-5 years of experience with DOT/FMSCA training, driver qualification files, driver compliance, and trucking fleet maintenance/repair operations.
• 3-5 years of experience in heavy civil construction desired, preferably in the concrete industry.
• A bachelor's degree in health and safety from an accredited college/university or commensurate experience with proven results.
• Preferred qualifications include ASP or CSP certification
• OSHA certifications (e.g., OSHA 500, 510, etc.)
