Job Title: Rad Tech - Ultrasound General Tech
Job Specialty: Ultrasound
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 10H Evening, Night 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday with Wednesdays off
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 3 years
License: Required
Certifications: BLS, RVT, COVID Vaccine Required
Must-Have: Independent and competent in performing venous insufficiencies, arterial duplex, ABI/PVR, renal artery stenosis, SMA, abdominal doppler complete, occasional BPG, carotid, aorta exams
Job Description:
- Maintain cleanliness and stock in the exam room.
- Perform various imaging and diagnostic exams including venous insufficiencies, arterial duplex, and more.
- Operate using EPIC for patient charting and Centricity UV PACS for images.
- Utilize department-specific equipment such as Phillips Elite and Parks Flo Lab.
- Support from a Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech on each shift.
- Work with the in-house Radiologist, available from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Follow a templated schedule managed by central scheduling; no self-scheduling is available.
- No weekend or holiday requirements.
- No call or standby duties involved.
- Wear solid color scrubs (not provided).
- Engage in 1-2 weeks of specific training/orientation.
