Requisition Details:
5 to 7 years development experience in building DataStage ETL applications that utilize an RDBMS such as Oracle, DB2 in UNIX or Linux environments required. Must be able to demonstrate a proficiency in SQL
4 years in developing and maintaining applications using an ETL tool Data Stage
BODS experience of minimum 2-3 years ( optional )
Experience in researching data issues, analyzing the problem causes and developing technical solutions
In-depth knowledge of ETL architecture.
Well-developed interpersonal skills which can be used to aid in the gathering, assimilation and development of user specifications and test cases.
Good to have Insurance experience
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required
3-5 years of Full Development Life Cycle experience in DW projects using any SDLC methodologies
Must have strong 4 years of experience in Datastage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Team player, self-starter, motivated, and multi- task oriented
Ability to gracefully manage multiple priorities, commitments and projects
Strong written, verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills to building relationships with others in the IT department
Solid understanding of Data warehousing concepts and ETL solutions
Ability to prioritize work requirements
Ability to continuously seek out and Client root cause relationships and conclusions that are not always intuitively obvious or based solely on past experience

Prior Insurance Domain experience
BODS knowledge and working experience
