Job Description

The School of Engineering at Wentworth Institute of Technology is seeking applicants for an Open-rank position in the Biological Engineering program. Preference will be given to applicants who can also teach in Environmental Engineering. The position starts in Fall 2025.

Successful candidates should be prepared to teach in both undergraduate and graduate programs. Please email Associate Dean Anuja Kamat kamata@wit.edu if you have any questions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teaching both undergraduate level Biological Engineering courses.
  • Engaging in research and scholarly activity
  • Performing service to the university and the profession, which includes academic advising, student engagement, and serving on committees.


Minimum Requirement:
  • PhD in Biological Engineering or related discipline.


Preferred Requirement:
  • Demonstrated teaching experience
