About the team
Team Overview
TikTok is reshaping the current retail path to purchase and transforming how brands connect with their communities to drive shopping moments through an infinite loop of discovery, consideration, purchase, review, and participation. We are looking for a passionate leader to drive the growth for TikTok Shop's newest e-commerce feature - TikTok Shop Live.
TikTok Shop Live serves as a central hub where users can easily discover promotions (campaigns & flash sales), a wider product assortment from across our TikTok Shop merchants recommended through shoppable content (in-feed video, product showcase, and LIVEs), as well as manage their orders all natively within one tab.
Responsibilities:
- Design an integrated Seller Live plan to increase the live GMV of Sellers in TikTok Shop.
- Analyze live performance metrics and provide insights to optimize content strategy and improve conversion rates.
- Collaborate with the XFN team to align sellers' promotions with overall marketing initiatives.
- Stay up-to-date on TikTok trends and algorithm changes to ensure maximum visibility for the shop.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience and 3+ years experience in eCommerce, social media platforms, digital content mixed experience on social media platform side, brand side, or e-commerce side
- Proven track record in business development and sales within the livestreaming, e-commerce, media, or digital marketing industry
- Strong understanding of the intricacies of 1 to 1; and 1 to few relationship building between tech platforms and sellers
- Ability to work independently and time manage multiple sensitive and high profile initiatives, curious, self-motivated, bias-for-action ("no task is too small" mentality)
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of e-commerce livestreaming platforms, technologies, and industry trends
- Experience working in ambiguity, achieving results in a fast-paced environment, and continually adapting to changing business needs
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail, affinity with numbers, logical and strong in problem solving
- Familiar with TikTok and other content platforms; experience in content-based e-commerce is highly preferred
