Job Description:
  • Growing fee-only financial planning firm who is seeking a Wealth Advisor who is passionate about financial planning and would like to be an equity partner.
  • As a Wealth Advisor, you will assist in all facets of serving our younger medical professional client base along with being mentored on how to run a financial advisory practice.
  • Assist with the process of closing all new Prospects and subsequently onboarding them as Clients: Actively participate in the prospecting process, review and present the financial plans we create for these prospects and then assist with opening and transferring in all of their accounts.
  • Client Review meetings: Review and monitor the preparation of all client review meeting agendas along with presenting these agendas to clients.
  • Investment/Portfolio Management: Take an active role in determining the allocations within our ETF model portfolios and monitor all trades completed by Client Planning's staff.
  • Client Services: Promptly respond to client needs by delegating and answering any client questions and/or account maintenance requests.
  • Managing and mentoring junior team members: Communicate, collaborate and coach creative problem solving techniques to junior staff members.
  • Team Participation: We are a small organization and encourage open dialogue and brainstorming so you must enjoy working and being creative in a team environment.

Qualifications:
  • Entrepreneurial-minded individual attracted to future ownership opportunities within 3 years
  • One or more of the following credentials required: CFP, CPA, CFA or MBA
  • 5 Years in the financial advisory industry including significant client-facing experience
  • Comfortable using various softwares including Microsoft Word and Excel, a CRM (Wealthbox), Financial Planning (eMoney), Custodial Platforms (Fidelity), Performance Reporting (Tamarac), etc
  • Ensure prospects and clients experience first class client service and feel confident that you have their best interest at heart
  • Unquestioned integrity in personal and professional activities
  • Great at prioritizing tasks and demonstrating an enthusiasm and passion towards financial planning
  • Highly motivated, creative, adaptable and intellectually stimulated
  • Comfortable interacting with clients in person and via phone/email/video
  • Team oriented and comfortable wearing many hats in a growing organization
