PURCHASING MANAGER
POSITION SUMMARY
The primary responsibility isestablishment of proper inventory stocking levels to provide expected serviceslevels to support the business, the replenishment and accurate maintenance ofthe region's inventory, in compliance with Matheson's Preferred Vendor andPrivate Label programs. Reports to: Inventory Control Manager (ICM).

REQUIRED SKILLS
Selling, negotiating, planning,and time management skills. - Ability to work independently and under somepressure to meet deadlines. Excellent organizational skills - Intermediatelevel knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook E-mail).
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Degree in Business or Engineering,and at least 5 years proven experience in operational procurementenvironment. - Knowledge of industrial, medical, and specialty gas cylinders,bulk, cryogenic gases and related technologies a plus. - Influential leadershipskills - Strategic Management Planning and strategic sourcing - Resultsoriented reporting to different levels of the organization. - Highreactivity and proactivity - Communicative Ability to transfer neededinformation to internal and external customers in an efficient and clearmanner. - Customer needs mindset
