Construction Material Engineer Job Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage medium to large Construction Materials Testing and Special Inspections projects, ensuring exceptional quality and strict adherence to industry standards.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to fully understand their project needs and provide solutions that exceed their expectations.
- Develop and expand a local client network to drive revenue growth, aligning with the company's financial objectives and strategic goals.
- Lead efforts in business development at both local and regional levels, enhancing the company"s market presence through effective marketing and networking strategies.
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates and proposals for field and laboratory work, ensuring compliance with project specifications and the International Building Code (IBC).
- Mentor junior engineers and field staff, providing guidance in client development and project management to support their professional growth and enhance team performance.
Job Requirements
Construction Material Engineer Job Requirements:
- 6-8+ years of experience in construction materials engineering
- PE license or ability to obtain within 2 years required
- Bachelors in engineering or related field required
- Experience with business development required
